Huancayo 2 Days: The best Itinerary for your next trip

Day 1: Laguna de Paca – Convento de Ocopa – Handicrafts

Reception. Transfer to the Hotel. Depart to Jauja province and boat ride on Paca Lagoon, an Andean lake surrounded by bulrushes and quaint restaurants, and a spectacular view of mountains in the distance. Then visit the Convento de Ocopa. founded by Franciscan monks in 1725, for a guided tour of its coisters, library of 25,000 volumes, some dating back to the 15th century, and Amazon jungle musuem.
