The Information that Fertur Peru Travel Collects from Clients

When you book with Fertur Peru Travel, we may use or disclose your personal information, either directly or through our suppliers, to offer or book travel services on your behalf. This data includes your name, age, address, telephone number, email address, emergency contact information, passport information, travel medical information (if applicable), insurance details, ISIC information (if applicable), nationality, residency, nutrition preferences, travel reviews, travel and accommodation preferences, feedback you provide, travel destination information, and payment-related information. This personal information allows us to provide you with travel information, book flights and accommodations, process payments, and provide similar travel services.

Please note that Fertur Peru Travel may be required to provide certain personal information to our suppliers for the purposes of providing their services to you. For example, foreign travelers booking a hotel in Peru through Fertur Peru Travel will be required to provide passport information, which we will then share with the hotel for the purpose of exemption from the “General Sales Tax” or IGV, which Peruvians and legal residents of Peru are required to pay. When you book travel services with us, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information by Fertur Peru Travel, and the corresponding collection and use by its relevant suppliers, for the purpose of administering and providing the travel services arranged at your request.

Compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

In addition to the right to access, update, and correct the information we collect about you, if you reside in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or the European Economic Area, you have the following additional rights (under the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR):

• Receive information about how long we will retain your personal information or on what basis we make decisions about how long we retain your personal information;
• To request that your personal information be deleted by us, subject to any necessary legal requirements we may have to retain the information;
• Object to the processing of your personal information or restrict the processing of your personal information (but please understand that we may not be able to provide certain services to you without processing this information);
• To receive a copy of any personal information we hold about you in a portable format;
• To lodge a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority (e.g., the Spanish Data Protection Agency).

Optional Newsletter (only if you choose to receive it)

When you access our services through our online forms, you may receive communications from us, as well as service-related emails, including newsletters, surveys, promotional offers, and special announcements. If you do not wish to receive these communications, please email us at administrative@fertur-travel.com with the “Opt-Out” field in the subject line.

We use a third-party email service provider to send newsletters and promotional offers. All emails you receive will contain an UNSUBSCRIBE link in case you decide you no longer wish to receive emails. Website Monitoring

Our website uses Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising services to understand how users interact with our site. These services allow us to collect behavioral metrics, heat maps, and session replays of user activity on our site. We use this data to improve and optimize the user experience and our services. All sensitive information is masked. No sensitive text, such as email addresses and user-entered information, is ever sent to our servers by these third-party services. However, data collected through behavioral monitoring may be linked to a user ID or IP address for analytics purposes.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and  the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply .

Evaluating new clients

When you contact Fertur Peru Travel to inquire about travel services or for other purposes, we may make a good faith effort to verify your identity based on the information you provide to ensure you are who you represent yourself to be before fulfilling your request. We do this for both your protection and ours.

Data Protection and Conservation Policy

We consider your data private and confidential, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of trust and fiduciary obligations in its safekeeping and use. Fertur Peru Travel SAC will not disclose the information collected about you unless we receive your prior consent or are required by law, and when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our company or our websites. Posting Customer Reviews

We routinely collect information related to customer satisfaction, including your name, nationality, and email address, along with specific trip details such as dates, destinations, passenger information, and the number of people in your party. This information is used to address any concerns you may have and to analyze data in aggregate form to improve our services.

With your consent, we may use your name and comments, excerpts, in designated areas of our websites and services, as well as in other marketing materials used to promote Fertur Peru Travel SAC. We ensure that we do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for their promotional use. Return email addresses are used solely to respond to emails we receive from you. These addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with third parties, except as expressly necessary to provide the travel services you have booked with us and to evaluate customer satisfaction after those services have been delivered.

As part of our commitment to improving travel experiences and services, we may use the TripAdvisor platform to solicit reviews from customers who have used our services. This process may include sharing your email address with TripAdvisor solely for the purpose of inviting you to review the service you received. Your participation in providing a review is entirely voluntary.

Customer reviews, which may include personally identifiable information such as the customer’s name and image, are posted on our websites. We obtain customer consent before posting any review, along with their written comments and any photographs they provide or expressly permit us to use. This is in line with our dedication to transparency and the value we place on customer feedback.

Encrypted Document Transfer

When customers enter sensitive information on our reservation or order forms or send us scanned documentation, we urge them not to do so via open email. Instead, we suggest they send that information through an encrypted Premium Business account at www.Hushmail.com that we maintain.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Payment Platform Providers

For the convenience of our customers, Fertur Peru Travel offers several secure online payment methods from established third-party providers and accepts all major credit cards. For payments made through any third-party payment platform, the customer is subject to the privacy policies of those third-party provider services. As part of our Terms  and Conditions , we ask our customers to expressly understand and agree that Fertur Peru Travel will not be responsible for any problems that may arise through the use of such third-party services, including the mishandling of the customer’s personal information.
